Terms
Last updated: October 2026.
These terms cover buying and using Labwrights packages, such as RAG on Azure. In short: you buy a personal licence to learn from and use the material, you pay Azure directly for what you run, and nothing here promises a job.
What you buy
- A personal, non-transferable licence to use the package you bought: its labs, handbook, capstone, extras, and the code in its repository.
- Access to the private GitHub repository for that package.
- 12 months of updates to the package, from the date of purchase. You keep permanent access to the edition you bought.
What you may and may not do
- You may use the code you write, and the package's code, in your own projects, including commercial ones.
- You may not share your repository access, resell or republish the labs, handbook, or other written material, or post them publicly.
- A team or company that wants several people to use a package should buy one licence per person, or email us for a team arrangement.
Payment and refunds
- Checkout and payment are handled by Polar, the merchant of record. Polar's terms apply to the payment itself.
- Refunds: all sales are final. Your GitHub invite goes out the moment you pay, and code can't be given back. Try the free lab and its starting app before buying; they're written exactly like the paid labs.
- When we do refund: in full if your invite never arrives, or if you were charged twice for the same package. Email us within 30 days.
Azure costs
- You run the labs in your own Azure subscription and pay Microsoft directly for what you use.
- Cost figures in the labs are estimates. Actual costs vary with how long you keep resources running, your region, and Azure's current prices. Each lab ends with a teardown; running it is your responsibility.
No promised outcomes
The labs teach skills by building a real system. We don't promise employment, interviews, certification, or income.
The material
The material is provided as is. We test every lab on live Azure before release and fix errors through updates listed in each package's changelog, but cloud services change, and we can't guarantee that every step works unchanged forever.
